I am happy to announce that there are now many internationally recognized universities (like MIT, Columbia University) offering free online education. Currently, there are two leading websites which partners with these universities for this course.
Though many people prefer EDX to Coursera for their diverse study courses, Coursera is also a good platform to obtain free studies online. The good news is that after a successful completion of the online course, a certificate would be awarded to you by the university of choice. This certificate awarded is internationally recognized. This is essential for most Ghanaians who want to study online .
Below I would give a brief description of the two online studying website

Coursera is an education company that partners with the top universities and organizations in the world to offer courses online for anyone to take, for free.
- Coursera provides courses in various areas, including Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Medicine, Biology, Social Sciences, , Business, and Humanities. Each of the courses offered includes short video lectures on different topics and assignments to be submitted, usually on a weekly basis.
Basically, all you would have to do is log on to www.coursera.com or www.edx.org and sign up.
